Artfully,
Mr. Bobby
Beauty, Creativity, Community, three words that could be used to sum up the IAA experience. We have had a banner year, accentuated with the beautiful mural on our playground wall and the Magnet Celebration Parade this week. I often reflect back on where we were 6 years ago and I am amazed at how far we have come. Not only have we turned around a school, in a relatively short time, we have become a sense of pride and community center for the Old North End and all of Burlington. I have the opportunity to stand before this school every Monday and acknowledge and celebrate the positivity and spirit that the Staff, Students and Families bring to this school community. Not many people in the work they do can have this seminal moment every Monday morning. Monday is often the ire of the entire working class. Not me, not here. Thanks for making every Monday, every week and every year since I have become principal, a source of pride and connectedness that I don’t believe I could realize in any other job.
Artfully, Mr. Bobby

Mr. BobbyI was principal at IAA for 9 years and employed there for 18. I loved every minute of the journey. We were all about community, the arts and positive vibes. Now I am in my first year as the District's Alternative Learning Program's Principal. Learning new things and applying my experiences to a new setting. Archives}
